Its almost a week now that we first heard the news of Google's aquisition of DoubleClick with an near all cash offer of USD 3.1 billion.Thats twice of what Google actually paid to get hold of YouTube. The strategic alliance probably puts Google in a stronger position as it now is the main player in the advertising world.Soon maybe you'll see Google advertorial  arms reaching all media coverage that is possible on this planet. Its quite interesting to know that Doublelick was once estimated at a value of USD 15 billion.I'm not sure if the people running Google is still holding on to the Don't be Evil tagline as this has now becoming a familiar pattern to what Microsoft's aggresive fronting was all about .In fact I think the guys at Google had just go one up and maybe soon will be making its own game console with probability to feature a new breed of advertising platform.
