iphoneThis one is going for the records. In three days Apple's iPhone has shatered sales record and already its being reported that its being sold out in 95 out of 164 stores. The report quotes American Technology Research predicting that the iPhone would likely be AT&T’s fastest ever selling product and that the iPhone could also rank among the fastest selling consumer electronics devices of all time. Now that is one feat that would allow Steve Job to keep his position in longest running possible.

Now if you remember not long ago Microsoft CEO actually laughs off at suggestions that iPhone would actually make it in the market saying it isn't suitable for business consumers. He even added that $599 it is the most expensive phone in the world. Now think about it the most expensive phone in the world is also the hottest selling.Reports estimates Apple could have raked in $300- $400 million over the weekend.(source Macnn )

Apple had denounced a report that came from Endgadget that it is delaying the iPhone.Subsequently the press release of Apple's clarification had stopped its shares from falling into dissastrous level .The report which was based on a faked email had caused Apple's share some hiccups and no wonder why they were so quicked to brushed aside any rumours of that claim. On the other end FCC has finnaly approved the iPhone so Apple is still on target for its release by this June.

There has been a growing trend and where it is heading is quite alarming as we now see market manipulation is on the rise.(Gigaom).There are many other recent false reports escpecially the recent claims that Microsoft is buying over Yahoo! that actually resulted in its shares soared by 20%.We do need to get the culprits who are actually doing this for their own gain.

Its almost a week now that we first heard the news of Google's aquisition of DoubleClick with an near all cash offer of USD 3.1 billion.Thats twice of what Google actually paid to get hold of YouTube. The strategic alliance probably puts Google in a stronger position as it now is the main player in the advertising world.Soon maybe you'll see Google advertorial  arms reaching all media coverage that is possible on this planet. Its quite interesting to know that Doublelick was once estimated at a value of USD 15 billion.I'm not sure if the people running Google is still holding on to the Don't be Evil tagline as this has now becoming a familiar pattern to what Microsoft's aggresive fronting was all about .In fact I think the guys at Google had just go one up and maybe soon will be making its own game console with probability to feature a new breed of advertising platform.
