Profesor Negroponte who started the One Laptop Per Child(OLPC)had lashedout over Intel's decision to unveiled its own low cost laptop called the Classmate.However speaking to CBS repoters ,Intel's Craig Barette dismisses the allegation as nonsense saying "We are driving him out of bussiness.We are trying to bring capability to young people".This episode has sparked a new fire to the already decade old war of processors powerhouses Intel and AMD.The OPLC is currently using an AMD processor.The OPLC costs around USD 176 while the target was to sell it at USD 100.The classmate on the other hand currently costs over USD 200.(Via BBC )
