			<title>700000 iPhones Sold In 3 Days</title>
			<link>http://www.wirednations.com/businessit/700000-iphones-sold-in-3-days-2.html</link>
			<description>
This one is going for the records.In three days Apple&amp;#39;s iPhone has shatered sales record and already its being reported that its being sold out in 95 out of 164 stores.The report quotes American Technology Research predicting that the iPhone would
likely be AT T&amp;rsquo;s fastest ever selling product and that the iPhone could also rank
among the fastest selling consumer electronics devices of all time.Now that is one feat that would allow Steve Job to keep his position in longest running possible.

Now if you remember not long ago Microsoft CEO actually laughs off at suggestions that iPhone would actually make it in the market saying it isn&amp;#39;t suitable for business consumers.He even added that $599 it is the most expensive phone in the world.Now think about it the most expensive phone in the world is also the hottest selling.Reports estimates Apple could have raked in $300- $400 million over the weekend.(source Macnn (http://www.macnn.com/articles/07/07/03/iphone.breaks.att.record/) )

			<title>Safari On Windows : Was It Worth Taking A Look?</title>
			<link>http://www.wirednations.com/hi-lites/safari-on-windows-was-it-worth-taking-a-look-2.html</link>
			<description>
Jumping late on the bandwagon,I finally took Safari on a test drive.Now we all know Apple had claimed that Safari is probably the fastest browser in the world..it still remains to be seen whether it will outperform Opera on the windows platform.Apple&amp;#39;s new strategy might be a winning decision after all as more people are begining to get familiar with the Mac fever.Most loyal Mac users will remain loyal as it is but the latest trend with the introduction of bootcamp will most certainly reach to bigger audiences.

Anyway I tried the browser and as much as would love to see Safari on my desktop, I guess I&amp;#39;ll just pass on this one or at least this release.It doesn&amp;#39;t seems to outperform Opera and in fact I have problems surfing some of my favourite sites. I don&amp;#39;t see why then we should jump out of the safe boat and start hugging a new and strange alien in the world of windows.Even with the speed that Opera has got to give , I am still gonna put my preference to Firefox and sacrifice speed for stability and security.However the battle for browsers are not over yet as the introduction of Safari in a platform where Internet Explorer hold the reign so dearly for the past who knows how many years might just give IE a new and young challenger in the ring.Oh yes..the force is strong in this one.

			<title>Movable Type 4 Beta Is Out</title>
			<link>http://www.wirednations.com/latest/movable-type-4-beta-is-out-2.html</link>
			<description>
Six Apart (http://www.sixapart.com) , the blogging software and services company had anounced the release of Movable Type (http://www.movabletype.com) 4 Beta yesterday.They even go on to mention the release of an open source version of Movable Type by the third quater this year.Chris Calden was quick however to stress that the Beta version is still not stable and not ready for production sites.

 It&amp;#39;s not a Google beta. It&amp;#39;s a real beta, said Chris Alden, executive VP
and general manager of Six Apart&amp;#39;s professional division, meaning that Movable
Type 4 is not stable enough for production environments.

Companies such as the Boeing, Intel, NYU, Oracle, TBWA/Chiat Day, The
Washington Post, and Whole Foods are using Movable Type for both internal and
external communications. CMP Media, which publishes InformationWeek, uses
Movable Type as a blogging platform and for internal communication.

The MT4 boasts over 50 new features and is even easier to install than its predecessors.

Other product and services by six apart includes the hosted blog service LiveJournal,TypePad and last October&amp;#39;s release of Vox (http://www.vox.com) ...which offers not only a hosted blogging service but added the community functionality.

			<title>Google Now Owns FeedBurner</title>
			<link>http://www.wirednations.com/latest/google-now-owns-feedburner-2.html</link>
			<description>Well news is out about the Google&amp;#39;s deal reportedly worth 100 million dollars to buy Feedburner, the Chicago based startup that took the world of RSS feeds subscription service by storm.This deal now opens even bigger possibilities in Google&amp;#39;s bid to take online advertising to a new high.This adding to the purchase of Double Click as well as media sharing You Tube strongly suggest Google&amp;#39;s intent to be ahead of it&amp;#39;s rivals for internet dominance.For now, operation for Feedburner users/subscribers will be as usual that also includes new users.

 FeedBurner&amp;#39;s focus on delivering
the right media to the right end point and measuring all that for the publisher
means we&amp;#39;ve got a great opportunity to combine our vision with Google&amp;#39;s vision
for organizing the world&amp;#39;s information, said Dick Costolo , CEO and co founder of FeedBurner.

FeedBurner, which has about 30 employees and raised about $10 million in venture
capital funding, will keep its operations in Chicago, Costolo said.
